Jessica Chobot Naked
Naked of color that is, hehe. Symbiote Studios has shown the first rough sculpt of Jessica Chobot's up coming statue, woot! According to Southernisland.com.This is the first stage of the sculpt. They go on to say that "The mouth needs to be slightly tweaked to be longer horizontally. The hair has a few minor issues and the face needs to be turned slightly more toward the controller. The J!NX logo is also only partially sculpted in as the rest will be filled in during paint applications." It's looking amazing!!! You'll be able to pre-order one by the end of the month. woot! woot!

Lisberger and Chobot's 'Soul Code' In the Works.
Steven Lisberger the director of 1982's "Tron" has sold "Soul Code," to Reliant Pictures for around 6 figures. If you recall Chobot met Lisberger at a special screening of Tron. Where they cooked up this story that revolves around transferring a person's memory. No word on whether Chobot will actually star in the movie. Lisberger is set to direct.

Jessica Chobot at Leipzig
![]() Hey Chobot fans. Chobot has returned. She was in Germany for Leipzig. Which is the German equivalent of E3. There doesn't seem to be as many people as you'd see in other gaming conventions, but then again it was held at the Leipziger Messe. Which is a huge place. As you'll see in the clip. Jess invades Blizzcon 07
Jess just returned from BlizzCon in Korea. This pic was taken from her stay in Korea. It was actually sent to her by Mike Morhaime aka: The President of Blizzard. Whoa! Jess knows you're Jealous, but that's just how she and her IGN crew roll.
![]() Here's a quick run-down from Chobot herself: "FTW: - The fact that some of the announcements were exclusive to BlizzCon and the US market. That's just good fucking form if you ask me! Well done Blizzard!!! Oftentimes the US press and public are left feeling like the red-headed stepchild in the games industry. We're so often competing w/ the Asian market, we're almost always given the sloppy seconds. When you save something special for us, we're so thrilled we jump all over it and give you a special nook in our hearts. (Of course, we do realize it could be worse. We could be the UK! LMFAO). ** Note: The StarCraft II trailer still gave me goose bumps.** -The Goodie Bags. This sounds incredibly selfish but take it from me-goodie bags are important. Keep in mind that a lot of people that come to events like this drop major coin on parking, food, taking time off from work, finding babysitters, transportation, and hotels in order to get a glimpse of their favorite game and experience their adulation amongst their peers. That’s not small stuff! Giving them a palpable goodie bag that is filled with (and I can't stress this enough) SIGNIFIGANT swag (ala: limited edition codes/items and beta keys amongst many others) makes them feel important and special and will justify all that money they spent in coming to see you and your product. - Timeliness: What I mean by this is, Blizzard had a TON of PCs set up and other tables where people could go and get a hands-on w/ the latest game of their choice. Despite the vast number of stations, things still got backed up. It was a long line-one I normally wouldn't bother standing in, but..in Blizzard's defense, they had many smart, well-informed and FAIR people on-staff that made the line run smoothly and gave each person a significant amount of quality one-on-one play time. As far as I could tell, no one felt slighted...and that's an amazing accomplishment. Especially when the games you're trying to debut are so in-depth and detail oriented. FTL: - Holy Bejeezus! The SMELL! Dear God-I'm not kidding. Certain sections of the hanger smelled like rotting fish. It was like a Murloc with a yeast infection was walking around in a skirt without panties! (Wait-Britney Spears was there!?! Oooooh-bad joke). - The lack of "stuff" to do. Like I said, the show floor was pretty much over for me in 3 hours. Tops. I did the bull riding and scraped the crap out of my elbow on the joust. All good on that front. Jay Mohr was his totally awesome self (doesn't this man do anything now besides host videogame events and help his wife, Nikki, snap her breast implants into place each morning!?!) Watching people compete in the card game competition was compelling and all, but honestly, the Dippin' Dots stand held my attention better. Blizzard is on the right path though. Just a few more things...maybe an on-going cosplay competition that traverses both days, or a live show during the afternoon or even sword swallowing or face painting.... ***OH MY GOD!!!! GREAT IDEA: section off the StarCraft I & II stuff w/ the Warcraft/WoW stuff. The StarCraft is all exclusively Sci-fi both in activities, tech and design and the WoW/Warcraft side is like a Renaissance Fair!!!!! YES!!! (For more awesome ideas, feel free to contact Jessica Chobot through IGN.com. I only expect 10%. Thank you).***" In other news. Jess was super excited they finally got a pop machine for the IGN offices. She was sick of having to walk 20 minutes just to buy and drink a soda. ![]() Lastly, here's a leftover from Jess at SDCC 07. Posted on 08 Aug 2007 by Orionsaint
